Artist Jo Eunbee focuses on the act of drawing itself. Through translating her personal experiences, the objects before her, and the emotions that arise from them into images, she organizes her thoughts and releases her sensibilities. Rather than explaining through words, she draws in moments when drawing feels unavoidable, adding text only when sentences naturally remain. For her, the work is less a means of expression than a way of moving through everyday life.

Working primarily with watercolor and ink on paper, her compositions are immediate and light in tone.
