Solsol, as a picture book artist, expresses the subtle and often unseen emotions of young girls through story and image. These works are original watercolor illustrations from a picture book centered on the character Sunae, delicately portraying the journey of a girl who had been unable to step outside her home, but gradually begins to open her heart as she follows the wind out into the world. The scenes led by Sunae, cats, friends, and a drifting balloon gently trace the inner moments where anxiety and excitement, hesitation and courage intersect.
