Ryu Mira’s paintings read like poems in themselves. Scenes drawn from everyday life and nature move beyond realistic representation, unfolding as lyrical landscapes that capture the emotions and atmosphere held within them. The way pigments gently seep and spread across the surface, together with subtle gradations that flow from one color into another, deepens this sense of lyricism. And where the painting ends, another poem begins. Mira accompanies each work with a poem of her own, exploring a single experience through two distinct languages: image and words.
